Horse Riding at Cornacchino
Everyone at their own pace and according to their needs
Years of experience, a large number of horses in regular work, and the safety of Western riding allow us to guide each person along a personalized path, even those who are completely new to horseback riding.
You may begin with riding lessons in the arena, continue with trail rides, enjoy a first taste of trekking, or take part in full trekking experiences.
Alternatively, you may choose to deepen your skills through a Natural Western Riding or Horsemanship course.
Always respecting individual pace, abilities, and needs.
Western Riding in Natural Environments
Western riding is especially suited for long rides and working in natural landscapes.
With a well-trained horse and a rider with a solid foundation, it allows riders to face challenging terrain safely and comfortably.
From the rider’s perspective, western riding requires less physical strain and offers smooth, comfortable gaits. Even after a full day on horseback, riders feel relaxed rather than exhausted.
For the horse, the western saddle distributes the rider’s weight over a wider surface than an English saddle and keeps the center of gravity low, supporting balance, comfort, and long-term soundness.
CoursesRiding Lessons and Trail Rides
From the very first lessons, riders learn while having fun, developing the ability to feel the horse and communicate through the body, using natural, intuitive movements with particular attention to the pelvis.
This approach encourages a true partnership between horse and rider, making it possible to experience all gaits safely and with confidence from the beginning.
The instructor’s goal is to guide each rider toward a level of preparation and safety that allows them to face the challenges of riding in natural environments.
For this reason, all lessons are followed by one hour of trail riding, helping riders relax, build confidence, and integrate what they have learned.
Our horses are experienced, calm, and reliable. Even in more demanding situations, they impress with their steadiness and training.
The surrounding unspoiled nature offers many different trail rides, varying in landscape, environment, and riding difficulty.
Courses on Horses and Horsemanship
At Cornacchino, the horse is at the heart of a journey based on knowledge, respect, and direct experience.
For years, we have combined passion, study, and daily practice to offer courses and workshops that approach horsemanship in a complete, practical, and accessible way.
Our courses are designed for those who wish to begin, deepen, or refine their relationship with horses, in an authentic and informal setting, immersed in nature and in the warm hospitality of a truly unique corner of Tuscany.
CoursesYoga & Horsemanship
Through the practice of Yoga, you develop body and breath awareness, essential for clear and authentic communication with the horse, both on the ground and in the saddle.
Yoga and Horsemanship come together in a path that supports balance, listening, and presence, creating the foundations for a harmonious relationship with the horse and with yourself.
